Tier 1 G Dependant 's Employer

Post by email257525 » Wed Mar 03, 2010 12:22 pm

Dear Members and Seniors

I am on T 1 G and wife is my dependant. When my wife s employer saw her Visa and said it does not say that you are allowed to work and said he needs some thing in writing or her visa should say that.

we had received a letter with the passport when it came from home office after visa, that letter does not say any thing about the work just say about two conditions like no recourse to public funds plus can not work as trainee doctor. I have shown the emplower that letter plus took the print out from ukba web site where it says dependants of the tier 1 G holders are allowed to work.

is there any other way of proving that my wife is allowed to work full time or business?

Maybe guiding him to the below webpage should clear any of his doubts where it clearly says 'Dependants of migrants who have entered the UK under one of the tiers of the points-based system', are eligible to work. It also has different links of how to ensure the employee has right to work. All the best.

Employer can also contact HO helpline for employers on 0300 123 4699, to verify.
