My friend needs the answer for the following queries.

Can you please guide for couple of issues

1. My UK account balance has gone down for few hours but end of the day it was the same (does it make any difference)
2.What is the solution from India to show maintainance funds ( i have credit union fix deposit certificate does it work)

well, whatever is the balance at the end of business day is what considered to be official. You will find that when you request a bank statement it would not show the fluctuation as it always shows the balance at the end of business day in question.

The best would be get a letter from the bank stating that the fixed deposit is en-cashable at any point, base on your request. Some of the forum-ites have got their extensions based on it

I am afraid it will cause problem if it goes down below required maintenance funds even once in 3months.. because UK Banks and bankstatements show the balance for every transaction and the min amount should always remain more than required... dont miss this point.. think abt it..
