Dependant Maintenance query

Hi All,

I have a query on Maintenance funds. My friend is staying in UK from past 2 years. Earlier she was on HSMP visa and in October she got her visa extension for next 3 years. Last week she got married and now she wants to apply for dependant visa for her husband.

Kindly let me know what should be the maintenance funds in her bank account for processing the dependant visa ?

For how many months she needs to maintain the minimal balance in her account. ?

I read the guidance and it says:

Dependants of Tier 1 main applicants
The dependant must have a minimum level of funds to support themselves. If they do not have the required level of funds the application will be refused.
K1. The level of funds the dependant must have access to depends on the length of time the main applicant has been in the UK. Please indicate whether the main applicant has been in
the United Kingdom for:

Less than 12 months Please provide evidence of more than £1600 of available funds
12 months and over Please provide evidence of more than £533 of available funds

Please confirm that I am looking at correct piece of information

Should it make any difference if she is to apply for visa from India?

£533 + £800 for the main applicant is the guidance and the answer for your second query is that you have to maintain the amount for atleast 3 months
