Tier1 approved but invalid dependents application

My psw expires on 06/feb/2010.. so applied for tier1 along with dependents on 28/jan/2010. today i got my passport stamped with tier1 but not for dependents. The letter from ukba says as the dependents applied on wrong version of the application form, their application was invalid and the fees will be given back...

My question is
1. As their visa expired while the application is at ukba, can they reapply again here in u.k ?

please advise me...

did UKBA verified ur employment if u hv showed that u r salaried person?
m thinking to apply 4 T1 (G) in near future from PSW.

I dont know whether they contacted my employer or not .. i did not ask my employer...

please any one answer my question ....
