PEO APPOINTMENT

Hi every one.I am on spouse visa and can apply for ILR in may 2010.I overstayed my student visa before finally going back to my home country in april 2008 to get married to my british wife and came back to england in may 2008 on a spouse visa.

I am planning to make a PEO application and wanted to know if my overstaying will have any effect on my peo application/appointment or not?

your suggestions will be most welcome.
