Switching from Working Holidaymaker to Tier 1 Dependant

Post by lauren87 » Mon Mar 15, 2010 11:05 pm

Hi

I have had a look through this forum and other websites but cannot find a clear answer to my question so am hoping someone can help.

I was issued a Working Holidaymaker visa in July 2008 which is valid for 2 years. I now want to switch to a Tier 1 Dependant visa as an unmarried partner (I have checked full details of this visa and definitely qualify).

Am I able to switch from Working Holidaymaker to Tier 1 Dependant before my Working Holidaymaker visa expires? If so, am I able to switch within the UK or must I go back to New Zealand and apply?

Many thanks for your assistance.

Regards
Lauren

Thank you.

Can I please just confirm that I can apply for Tier 1 Dependant before my Working Holidaymaker visa expires? (ie I apply in April 2010 but Working Holidaymaker visa does not expire until July 2010).

Regards
Lauren
