Maintenance For UK Tier 1

Post by ukdiscuss » Tue Mar 16, 2010 4:00 am

Hi All,
I wanted to apply for the UK Tier 1 visa. I have all the eligibilities, except for the fact that i missed to have the minimum maintenance, for 4 days in the month of feb. Due to which, i doubt there is a possiblitiy of my application being reject. I do have other sources of maintenance, apart from savings account. Is it possible that i pledge my other modes of savings for example FD, NSS certificates, which are valid for more than a year. Kindly advice me on the same.

Thank you in advance

Yes you can show FD's as maintenance funds with proper documentation.... but see if you have any other bank account in or outside india which can cover those 4days..

Thank you for the reply.
I do not have any other savings for those 4 days. hence i wish to try using my FD.

For all other days im have a good balance.

what is the propability that they will accept the letter from bank as proof?
