Best option adv please

Guys I really need adv please.

Currently on Tier 2 and was planning to apply when the new Tier 1 comes into effect on 6/7 April but there are a few issues.

I'm not able to get an appt with the online booking system and I have to travel on the 8th of May. If I take the risk and post it then looking at the current time frame I wont get the passport back in time. So my options are:

a) Post and risk it hoping I'll get it back in time to travel home.

b) use a consultant/agent but can they get it quicker?

c) return from my travel sooner (20th of May is the earliest I can get back) and then post but the issue is that my last job contract expired on 06/02/2010 and payslip for 12 months consecutive earnings is on 26/02/2010 and thought I'd use the 15 month window.

Will they look at the payslip date or job dates when considering the 15 month time frame?
