How is the Current IT market In UK?

Dear All,
How is the Current UK IT market now.?
I am belongs Java competency and having around 6+ years of exp.
Currently working in IBM India,.
I am planning to go UK by Tier-1 General Via to get JOB.

So, tell me some suggestion / Idea , which is the right time to enter UK. If any one belongs Java competency please let me know how the recruitment in UK for Java SOA .

I have doubt on filling of 3.2 Issuing Authority of passport information in application of Tier -1 General Highly skilled visa.

Please any one guide me on this.

I do not want to discourage but my understanding is that UK is no longer good for IT jobs. All jobs are outsourced to India and hunting jobs is too tough. Lots of highly experienced folks in UK are jobless, you will have to compete with them.
