ILR visa & how long you can wait before entering UK

ILR visa & how long you can wait before entering UK

If an ILR visa is obtained overseas to enter the UK (in this case obtained in the US), once it is received, how long can you wait before you enter the UK ie. does the visa have an expiration time after which it can no longer be used. Thanks for any info on this.

ECB9.6 Indefinite Leave to Enter (ILE) and Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) wrote:Applicants who are granted Indefinite Leave to Enter (ILE) at a visa issuing Post should have no time restrictions on their stay in the UK ie they can stay indefinitely. ILE carries the same entitlement as “Indefinite Leave to Remainâ€
