Photos Asked by caseworker

Post by r007 » Wed Apr 14, 2010 12:13 pm

Hi all,

Caseworker sent an email for updated photos, have sent the same last week. Does anyone know if the photos are requested after all other documents are processed.

Here is the email extract:

Thank you for your application, which is currently being considered.
Please note that we have identified a minor omission with regards to the
evidence that has been submitted. Under our guidance all passport
photographs submitted must be less than a month old.

You have provided passport photographs for yourself and your partners
application, however these photographs appear to be on your passport
photograph.

We are therefore asking you to submit 2 up to date passport photographs
for both yourself and your partner.

Applied 25th march, above email received on 08 April, New photos reached HO on 9th april.

You are very lucky to have received such an email. Most other applicants get rejected for this omission. I believe, your application is very strong and that is why the HO has no intention to refuse it. So, just wait. You should receive a positive reply very soon.

Well, if they are saying that "it is under consideration", then you have no other option than to wait, do you?
What is your 'case' by the way? Seeing as you just latched onto someone else's thread, which seemingly has nothing to do with your question?
