Claim earnings from 2 countries worked @ the same time?

Post by kookamunga22 » Wed Apr 14, 2010 2:02 pm

I currently make £25k and so I'm £5k short to qualify for the Tier 1 (General) visa. My mum has said that she would hire me to do some web design work over the coming months so I can make up the extra £5k before I apply by the end of the year, but I would be working for her company that is not in the UK and they would pay into my foreign bank account. Can I claim income from the UK as well as the work I am doing out of the country? What paperwork would I need to provide in order to claim this if so?

Thanks so much for any help!

Does anyone know? I know it might be an obvious question for someone that is familiar with the new rules, but I just want to make sure when I apply I do it correctly! Thanks so much for your time and help! :)
