Tenancy agreement...plz help

Post by nehagharge » Wed Sep 15, 2010 10:59 am

Hi,

A small query regarding the tenancy agreement. I am gonna apply for dependent visa next month(currently on student visa). Me and my husband have been staying together in the same flat for th past one year.

My question is the tenancy agreement which we have is just an A4 size paper written agreement from the owner. Will this create a problem in my application or do i need to get it authorised from any agent.

Secondly, do i need to notarise my husband's passport copy or just a xerox would do?

Please advise..

Rgds,
Neha

Tenancy agreements are on plain A4 paper only. Signed by the landlord and the named tenants and one/two witnesses (usually the agency staff).

Check with local VAC / BHC.
