Scan Copy of Documents at VFS for Parents

Hi,

I want to invite my parents to UK to stay for me for sometime. I am planning to call them for not more than 6 months. I need to send them documents for sponsorship ie.
1. Letter of sponsorship from me.
2. My payslips +Employer letter.
3. My 6 months Bank Statement.
4. My House Agreement.

Now, my question is..

1. Do I have to send the above documents in original? OR
2. Can I scan the above mentioned documents and send them so that they can take printouts and submit along with their application.

Sending scan copy of documents will save a considerable amount of time for me.

Can anybody please advise? Thanks

All docs will have to be originals for such applications

Checked with VFS and received reply saying I can send scan copy/photocopy/fax of my document for my parents.

But my parents have to submit all their documents in original.
