Non acceptance of laminated documents?

Post by tonytee » Thu Feb 24, 2011 8:56 pm

I just read the guideline on passport application i nrespect of the non acceptance of laminated documents. Incidentally virtually all my documentation are laminated - all children's birth certificates, marriage certificate etc. Is there a way out of this. Could anybody in the similar situation in the past advise on how it was sorted?

Regards

Get replacements, and do not mutilate government documents again and expect to be able to use them.

If you cannot get replacements you will have to send the laminated documents in.

Hi,
Don't worry if you haven't laminated the neutralisation certificates. Thats happened to me and they accepted all the laminated docs accept of my neutralisation certificate so i had to pay £80 to the HO for a replacement. Hope this helps...
