Visa application reconsideration

Hello,

Is it possible to request a reconsideration rather than a appeal ? as appeal can take 9 months for settlement visas. If so, do I fill the VAF 4 again ? or just submit a letter with new documents?

The reasons as posted in my previous posts is not a big deal. Seems like ECO didnt read the documents properly.

This is causing a lot of distress for me and my wife. Help would be appreciated. Thank you.
