Tier1 - Extension

Post by rajuhiregoudar » Wed Mar 16, 2011 4:53 am

I have Limited company , I am the sole Director of the company, I am planning for extension in April.
I have an CA who send me PaySlips and Dividend vochers every month
I will transfer the Salary and Dividend from my Business account to Personal Account accordingly.

I have following Queries:
1. Will HO consider me as Salaried or Self Emplyed?
2. If Salried/Self employed What are the documents do I need to Submit?

1. Payslips are issued to those who are "salaried".
2. Reading the policy guidance will help.

To operate a company (business enterprise) in the UK, one must register with HMRC. How you derive personal income from that company / business may vary - depending on how you operate.

Two different things - registration of business (HMRC) vs. meeting immigration requirements (UKBA).

Limited companies are registered with Companies house and not with HMRC. A registered company may decide to register for VAT with HMRC if they are required by law or if they want to take advantge of VAT flate rate scheme.

As per the advice from lan3re, that Limited companies are registered with Companies House. If the applicant is doing contracting and billing via Limited Company, will the following documents suffice the requirements for UKBA on Visa Extension?

Invoices
The above document can be corraborated with Business bank statement. Do i really require this piece of evidence??

Dividend vouchers & Payslips
Can the above documents be signed by the company secretary? If so can they be corraborated with Personal Bank statements. If NOT can the Accountant sign these documents?

Please advice.
If the opportunity doesn't knock, build a door.

Hi ,

If you are a sole director for your limited company ,then for your previous earnings you need Payslips,Dividend Vouchers,Accountant Letter ,Personal and Business Banks statements (Business Bank statement is optional).

You are EMPLOYED.

I have got my extension with those evidence.

If you search the forum many people would say the same .Dont get confused with invoices,Company Accounts etc

Make it simple when it comes to HO
