ILR sucess at Cardiff PEO

Post by BSK » Tue May 17, 2011 8:07 am

Hi All,

I got benefitted a lot from this forum. Thanks a lot the moderators and members.
I got my ILR sucessfully on 16/05/11 from Cardiff PEO (Workpermit +HSMP (JR) + Tier 1 (Under transitional arrangements)
I got an appnt @9.30am ...I went in there abt 9.00am.
Gone through Airport style security check. I was asked to go to counter and submit my papers.
Lady in the counter got all my papers and filled out the checklist. Later she asked me to pay in the next counter and I was told that it will take roughly two hours or so and case worker will call me to my mobile.
The following papers that I have submitted as supporting documents
1. Personal account statement (1 year)
2. Workpermit+HSMP approval + Tier 1 extension letter
3. P60s and P45s (4 +1)
4. Pay slips (1 year)
5. Marriage certificate
6. Co-habitation (Council tax bills, water bills, polling card, NHS letter)
7. Company registration certificate, VAT certificate, bank statment, Accountant letter, Work contracts, HMRC and self assessment letter for business
I had only 55 days absence for the last 5 years.
I had folder naming all the documents with the dividers and the lady in the counter was really happy for having such a orgainsed folder
I came out by 9.40AM. Went around Cardiff High street.
I was called around 11 AM and asked to come to UKBA. Again gone through security check, then I was told that the case is succesful and I will get my passport with in a week.
That's all. The whole thing was really simple. Hardly I spent 10+10 min (20 mins) in the UKBA office. Came back to Bristol office by 12 Noon
Cardiff PEO staffs are really professional, friendly and helpful.
PS.. I have submitted all the papers in the folder without them asking me for the documents.

Congratulations and thanks for sharing your experience. I understand you are self employed / Director of own limited company? For proof of earning you provided a letter from Accountant and bank statements to corroborate that. In addition did you provide any dividend vouchers / salary slips?

Yes, I am director of my company. As previously mentioned I provided business bank statements and accountant letter mentioning the dividends and salary for each month. Hence I did not submit any dividend vouchers.

Hope this helps.
