Hello,
I have been living in UK for almost 4 years now (on Tier-1 general) and intend to apply for ILR after 5th year. I am quite qualified for ILR after 5 yrs (unless rules changes
My parents have visited UK twice (once in 2010 and in 2009 summers) and now I am thinking of applying them visa for 5 years instead of 6 month.
Considering the link below I would be justifying following points for long stay visa
http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply ... a#22856841
1) As I live in UK with my baby and wife(have my own 3 bed house in UK), my parents would like to visit UK quite often, every summer
2) They got property, car in India to manage and have sister living there, shows strong ties to India and intention to leave
3) My financial status, job is good enough, shows my stability
4) My dad's pension, other income, and money I transfer to my dad's account shows parent's financial stability.
Based on these grounds, and given the fact that though I intend to apply for ILR after a year but still have 1 yr visa left, would above points convince the ECO to give 5 yr visa?
Has anyone done this before? Please suggest.
Thanks in advance.
