ILR eligibility

Dear All,

I entered UK in december 2006 with 2 year workpermit and then changed the job in October 31st 2008 with a new workpermit for 5 year from October 2008 to Oct 2013. My last working day in first company was 17th October 2008. There is gap of two weeks. from 17th october to 31st October.

Do you feel any issue with ILR regarding the continuity.

Your response shall be much appreciated.

I do not think there is a problem. this is IMHO.
Where you in UK during 2 weeks gap?
What are your total personal absences from UK over the 5 yrs time ?

Thanks for your reply.
Just to give you more detail. My workpermit approved in September 2008 and passport has been sent to Home office for stamping. The passport was stamped on 21st October 2008 and by that time i received it was 24th october 2008 and company told me join from 30th October 2008.

I was in UK at home during this period.

As on today my personal absences from UK is 167 days, but another 10 days to go for holidays this year. This comes to 177 days before i apply for ILR in November 2011
