Continuous period for ILR

Post by memememe » Tue Jun 21, 2011 11:29 am

I have been on a WP for 2yrs 3months. I then changed to Tier 2 partner visa for another 2yrs 6 months. Can I apply for ILR if I am a dependant spouse? I have been in continuous employment for over 5yrs now, and has never been out of the UK for more than 21 days at any time.

1. Can I apply for ILR?
2. Do I have to be on the WP or higher for 5yrs to be able to apply?

Any help would be appreciated

You may apply only when the main migrant (that you are dependant of) is applying or after he is granted settlement, depending on when you fulfil the requirements.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!
