Can I use an 9M-12M Apprenticeships with the chance to stay on afterwards for a visa for my wife?

About £400 pm, however I am living with my family who are paying for the bills. My main concern is the fact that the contract is a temp 9M-12M with chance to stay on afterwards at a higher pay. Would the fact that it is not permanent be an issue?

FYI - i was on an apprenticeship when i applied for my husbands visa and it got approved. But i had been working at my work place for over a year and was getting paid just over £800 month, I don't know if this is similar to your situation but thought i will let you know anyway :) good luck
