SET (O) clarifications

Post by target2012 » Wed Aug 31, 2011 8:08 am

Dear Moderators,

Thanks for viewing my post. I have been an inactive viewer till this point but now it is my turn to post.

I have been living in UK for 4 years now. I was on Work permit for first one and half years and then moved to Tier 2 for one year and then moved to Tier 1 General.
Currently my situation is, I have to go for extension of Tier 1 in Feb, 2012 and I am going to complete 5 years and will be eligible for ILR in this December.
I had shown 85+20 points while obtaining my Tier 1. My question is when I go for ILR, should I be showing the same number of points with which I have got the Tier 1 approval.
If so, the problem I am having is I lost 10 points in Age from my Tier1 extension and gained 5 points in Earnings. There is a deficit of 5 points, can any of the experienced boarders suggest me what I should be doing over here now.

With the current set of points, I am eligible to get an extension of Tier 1 with the self assesment that I have made in UKBA site.

Thanks again for your time
