referee - gp trainee

the second referee who should be british, can i ask a gp trainee friend who is british to sign my papers, for the naturalization?
my other referee is a paedatrician, who is not british.

Yes. All the needs to be is over 25years old, hold a valid British passport and not be related to the other referee. His profession is not relevant (if over 25).

Yes agree with Jambo but a gp trainee may be under 25 yrs, so please confirm.
