Biometrics Letter

I applied for an extension of my Tier 1 (G) in the first week of october. My account was debited and I recieved an acknowledgement letter in the first week. However, I have not recieved a biometrics invitation letter.

Having looked at the timelines of most applicatants posted it looks like everyone recieved an invitation to give biometircs in the first week after posting thier application.

I was wondering if my letter has been lost in the post or something. Is it something for me to be concerned about?

I am in a bit of a rush to get my passport back as I intend to travel 30th of november.

Any advice experiences would be much appreciated

You'll get an email as well as a letter and yes it's usually within a week after you post your application. The letter is required to enroll your biometrics. If it hasn't arrived chances are it is lost in the post or your address was entered incorrect, contact the Home Office via the contact details left in the email which was sent

Even I have got my acknowledge letter on 20th Oct but still not got Biometric Email or Letter. Should I also contact Home Office?

Hi ,

I have applied for my Tier 1 Extension on 17th Oct by post. Got the Ack letter but still have not recieved Bio Metric Letter.

Could you let me know if you had called home office and got any response

I received my biometric letter dated 25/10/11 on the 28/10/11 -

I think there is a massive delay.

I have not received my biometric and applied on 16 october 2011. I have not received any email either? Which number do i have to contact?

I applied on 10th and have heard nothing apart from acknowledgement letter!!!!which number to contact??

Looks like theres a hand full of us who have applied in October and have not got a biometrics invitation letter. I am guessing it is ok and there is not need to panic since its not just one person.

DANIYAL-Can you please tell us when you posted your application?

Guys, I was in the same boat... no letter, worried... do you ahve email invite with case no?

If so, book the appointment straight away. You do not need the letter for biom. I booked for psw biom, was fine without letter. Just tell them you didn't get it but were told you can book. They will ask for your date of birth etc. to confirm identity.

You will be just fine.

Hm, I assumed the procedure is same for everyone... it looks like it isn't.
I got that email within a week or so from sending my app.

Hi

This is for those who are also waiting for biometric letter . I called Home office and they mentioned the maximum waiting time for biometric letter is 28 days from the date they have received your application

I am a bit relieved to realise that my one hasn't got lost in post as they assured me it has not been posted yet.

REGARDING PSW BIOMETRICS

I have applied for psw visa on 24th and i received my acknoledgement letter on 26th. I have not received my biometrics letter yet I am worried how long it would take for the letter and visa to come

Any leave to remain application (by post) requiring biometric enrolment:

1. You should receive your biometric enrolment letter within 6 weeks of the date of application.
2. You can expect your leave to remain application to be decided within 14 weeks of submitting the biometrics.

I applied on Oct 25th and received ack letter after a week. I received email for biometric on Nov 16th. But I haven't received the biometric letter. Any idea how long it will take to receive the biometric letter after mail? I have booked an appointment for biometrics on 29th Nov. I am worried if I will receive the biometrics letter before that. Thx!

Same is the case with me. I received the biometric email on the 17th november and am still waiting for the letter. I called them up and they say i will be getting it by monday or i need to contact them if i didnt.

I have booked the biometric for 2nd of december. Any update on yours, did you receive the letter yet. Any updates or help please.
