Marriage Visa. Application for ILR. Our child born in the UK

Hi,

Thank you in advance for assisting me by clearing up one query that I have with completing the set(m) application form for my wife's indefinite leave to remain.

We have a daughter, we are both her biological parents, she was born in the United Kingdom in 2005, we have always lived in the UK since her application for definite leave to remain.

I beleive that it is NOT necessary to include our daughter in section 2.2 as although "we do have a child under 18 from our marriage", "she is not applying for an extension of stay as our dependants" as she was born in the UK.

I would be very grateful if someone could clear this bit up for me. Thank you again.

Mikey, you don't actually mention your status ... you are British or otherwise settled in the UK? I assume that is the case as you mention the form SET(M). Accordingly, your daughter is British, indeed was British as soon as she was born.

Thus whilst the question you mention needs to be answered "yes", there is no need to enter your daughter's details on the form.
