PR application (EEA4) on 5 yrs marriage basis

Hi guys,

Yesterday, I sent my EEA4 application (with 5kg of docs) on the basis that I have completed my 5 years from the day of marriage certificate date. I forgot to mention this on the covering letter. I am wondering if the first pereson caseworker who will check my documents before processing to the next stage might reject my application on the ground that I haven't completed my 5 years. Please note that my RC is expiring in July 2012 and I was married on September 2006. Please anyone guru/or same application experienced person advice.

did u get married in the uk,, if so,i hope u sent ur marriage certificate, so it will be 5 years from the day you got married to the eea national..

if you married abroad and came to uk. so it will b from the day u arrived to the uk as a family member of an eea..

-- 5 KG of documents seems a lot..
i sent my application with about 750gm of papers and im still waiting to hear from them..

I sent 5 kg as I have only two years of tenancy agreement. so, I have to cover 5 years bank statement of myself and my wife. In addition, some other documents to support residence period (as most of bank statement are missing). I organised in such a way as to easily identified. i.e.

1) First folder - WRS certificates, P60s and Employment contract and Employment confirmation letter covering 5 years. (EEA family member)
2) Second folder - 5yrs Bank statement (both) and tenancy agreement.
3) Third folder - Both passports, Marriage certificate and EEA3 Permanent residence card
4) Forth folder - other Misc documents and Prepaid special delivery envelope.

I hope these document are enough for my application. Just wondering they count my residencey period from the date of marriage.

WRS certificate was issued on 5th August 2006 and working with the same employer until now. Please note that my wife has already obtain her PR on 18th September 2011.

In that case, you could have probably saved 1-2Kg from your application.

Evidence of exercising treaty rights is not needed again. The blue booklet with the PR sticker is enough. You just needed to tick the first box in Section 6 in the EEA4 form.

I'm afraid to ask how much did you pay for special delivery of 5KG. Beats the whole point of a free application

it costs me £45 (including return envelope) but better worth taking risk of insufficent evidence. I dont want to get my application rejected on the basis of insufficient evidence as my employer have reminded me that i have only 6 months visa left and need to provide evidence of work before this date. I understand your point but, I have no choice.
