What would be the requirements to bring in a daughter from Africa by a full time student who is a single mum and in receipt of housing benefits and family tax credits. Pls help. NB: ILR through legacy and Ukba agency does not give specific info

You don't qualify for family reunion (which has the purpose of reuniting families who have fled a country and been granted humanitarian protection in the UK). In your case it will have to be a application under the normal family settlement rules. You will have to prove you have had (present perfect tense) sole responsibility for the child and that you can adequately maintain her.
