Admin Review Help

Post by Riz9000 » Thu Feb 23, 2012 5:46 pm

Hi Guys - I applied for the admin review on 05-02-2012, i got email from the UKBA on 06-02-2012 that they forward my review application to the relevant department. I would like to ask you guys, how long dose the administrative review takes? I applied from Pakistan. and can i submit fresh application as my review application is already in process?

28 days. You can also reapply.

The administrative review will be completed within 28 days. You will be notified of the result in writing. To ensure that the review is independent, the review result may not be sent from the post that made the original decision

Without knowing all/any case circumstances, how can somebody tell you that your AR will be successful or not??

They will review the whole case, they may allow you a visa or if they find something which ECO previously forget to check/review, they may add another reason of refusal (.i.e. on new grounds of refusal) or can change the refusal reason.

Thanks Deviser, In my case ECO comments for refusal are ( office has not been able to verity your Bank loan letter which you have submitted as evidence of funds. This office tried to contact the bank to ascertain the genuineness of the account but there was no positive response within the turnaround time.

For the review I have enclosed the supporting letter issued by the bank addressed to British Embassy that they have received no verification call or request for the authentication of the issued loan letter.

Please advice.

I don't understand why you are asking strangers to make guesses. What is that actually worth to you? You will know your answer soon enough (it's been nearly 28 days) and it will be the actual answer rather than guesses from anonymous posters who absolutely nothing about the facts of the situation other than what you have chosen to reveal. We can't see your genuine paperwork so we have no way of knowing if what you are saying or trying to demonstrate has any merit.

Lots of people have been through the AR process but nobody will match your exact situation, with your exact circumstances and paperwork. Your application is unique to you.

This is a very common trick of UKBA to refuse student visas in your region. ECO never call to verify anything but refuse application with this bogus reason. I heard about many cases that ECO/embassy just did a miss call (applicant mobile phone just rang once and caller cut the call off) and applicant got refusal notice that he did not answer the phone when ECO/embassy want to verify something. There are many refereces available in different forums.

Anyways, in you case, if this is the only reason and you submitted satisfactory proof from bank, I strongly hope that your AR will be successful.
