Hello

I have been in Uk almost 10 year, i am planning to apply for my indefinete leave to remain. i have a few questions

1. can I start to count the 10 years from the day I arrived to UK or from the day my first visa was issued?

2. how long in advance can I apply for the Indefinete leave to remain? or do I need to wait to be the 10 years exactly

3. Shall use a lawyer to apply for this visa?

thanks for your help in advance
