Delay in receiving Biometric Card

Post by tier_2_applicant » Mon Apr 16, 2012 1:10 pm

Hi,

I received my Tier 1 extension approval letter dated 27th March on 29th March. The letter said that I should receive my biometric card within 7 to 10 working days. When I didn’t get the cards till 12th April, I wrote to them. The response says that I should wait for another 3 to 7 working days.
Just wanted to check if anyone else has faced similar delays in getting their biometric cards?

I and my dependants had given our fingerprints on two different days at two different post offices. Could that have resulted in some error which is causing this delay?

Thanks.

the fact that you gave biometrics are different times should not be the reason for the delay in the BRP - as the biometrics will have been linked to your file and they would not have approved the application if they did not have biometrics for everyone
