Police Registration - late updates

Hi all,

I have been in the UK for almost 3 years on a work permit during which I moved houses twice and changed jobs twice but forgot that I was supposed to update these details on my police registration certificate and remembered now that I am planning on applying for an extension.

My question is:
- Is it ok for me to go update these details now or will I be in trouble with the police for failure to report the changes?
- Can this affect my chances of extension?

I have all the contracts etc that prove when I moved addresses, jobs etc. and I've got no criminal record or anything of the sort.

I would appreciate any advice on this. Thanks!
