I am planning to book an in-person appointment for my Tier 1 extension next week.
Anyone who has recently booked an in-person appointment, can you please let me know a few tips which can help me to secure the online appointment quickly.
Kindly let me know whether the below options are correct:
1. Which service are you applying for? - Tier 1 General
2. Are you applying using the premium service? - Yes
The help section for this question is a bit confusing - which paper form or interactive form is this refering to? I believe we have to print the "Tier 1 (General) application form", fill it and go to the application center (PEO) alongwith it after booking the online appointment.
The help sections also mentions : "Tell us whether or not you requested premium service when you applied. (We may not need to ask this question.) Premium service is same day service at a PEO (personal enquiry office). If you did not request premium service when you applied, you can not do so now.". My understanding is that we have to apply after booking a premium service. Is it not the case?
3. How many dependants did you include on your application? - 1 in my case
4. What are the options asked after we get an available appointment slot?
5. Again in the help section it mentions the below -
To complete your appointment:
Enter your personal details and case ID.
Hints: You can find your case ID on your invitation letter.
How will I get the case ID before my in-person application?
Can someone kindly explain the sequence of in-person Tier 1 General extension application process right from the appointment booking stage?
