hi can someone please help me.ill start the story.i was born in canada in 1962 my mum was born in scotland my dad is not on my birth certificate and have never seen or dont know were he is,i came to the uk to young to know dates etc,then my mum died and to cut a long story short lived in england all my life i left school joined the british merchant navy then moved on to work ashore some years later.ive been married 29 years with 4 children, i have a canadian passport with rights of abode in it, i havent a clue if i am a british citazine or not ive got a national insurance number paid all my taxes and stamps all my working life,i dont know if i was ever registard in the uk ,can i get a british passport please help me as i find the internet to confusing to work out
