BRP card delivered by which courier? Do we get email?

Does anyone knows which courier company delivers the Biometric Residence permit? Does home office notifies in advance by email that the BRP card is ready and with courier / tracking details etc?

UKBA send the BRP through DXSecure and as far as I'm aware they don't notify you in advance. In my case a card was left to re-arrange delivery as no one was home to sign for it on the day. But other documentation and approval letter are sent via Royal Mail. (via Special Delivery if you send a return envelope with your application or via Recorded Delivery otherwise.)

how long did it take for you to receive your BRP after receiving the letter/documentations?

In my case I received the BRP the day after my approval letter, however I did enclose a Special Delivery envelope with my application.

From what I recall the approval letter stated to allow 7-10 working days for BRP delivery.
