Return trip to the UK whilst awaiting ILR application

Hi Guys,

My wife applied for ILR via the postal checking service in Islington mid May because we were unable to get an appointment in person.

Her brother is getting married in Brazil mid Sept and we are trying to find out if there is anyway to get her back to the UK without damaging our application? Assuming we do not get a decision by then.

I have read about the 'travel extension' but it involves getting a legal representative and seems expensive.

Because we applied via the checking service she got to keep her passport after they made an official copy, can she use this without receiving her biometrics?

Advice would be greatly appreciated.
