ECM review at post (New Delhi)- Appeal against refu

Post by pc83 » Wed Jun 20, 2012 4:10 pm

Hello,
I had applied for a Tier 2 Dependent visa on 18th April in New Delhi, which got refused because the bank statements were not originals. I appealed against the refusal and provided original bank statements. My application was recieved by AIT on 15th May and the payment was deducted on 18th May. However, I have not received any communication or ackknowledgement letter yet.
I am hoping that my appeal will be allowed at the local post on ECM review without having a court hearing because I have adequate funds.
My question is: how long does ECM review at post usually take?
Is there any way of contacting anybody at AIT or the High Commission, New Delhi to know the status of my appeal?
Is there anyone who has applied for an appeal at the same time as me? Do you have any updates for your case?
Many thanks.

Around 8 weeks from the date of the appeal so you will be looking at mid-July to know if this part has been successful.

Thanks for your reply.
Is there anyone who has had their refusal overturned after ECM review recently, specially from New Delhi? I would be very greatful if you could share your experience and timelines.
Best wishes.
