You have to phone to book the ceremony and they send you a email confirmation. That is how I got mine.

On the approval letter it will show the preferred council you mentioned when you made the application and the number you should call to arrange the ceremony. You have 21 days from the time it was approved so try again.

OK. I am not sure if it is a different approach with your Council.
As I mentioned earlier I had to phone them to book the ceremony.

Hi Addh,

i got approval letter and it says i have to call the addreess mentioned in 21 days and book ceremony. When i called them (to number given on my letter) they said have sent me a letter with date of ceremony (which is more than 1.5 months from todays date). So once i recieve the ceremony letter i have to fill in the questionaire and return it back to them.

What i suggest is please give them a call and explain your situation they will be able to send you another letter.

Another thing if you are worried usually the register office (where yoiu call to book ceremony) will be near your area and you can go personally and try speaking to them.

i have booked private ceremony and they asked me to return questionaire once I recive scratching out old date and updating new date.
