Hi,
I have submitted for review on Jan 11. I faxed the home office yesterday evening. When I called them up today they said their system does not show my review application. They asked me to call later today....
Thanks
Deepak

Hopefuly yours will come up in the system soon. Anywayz the people who pick up the phone have nothing to do with updating the system, neither have anything to do with handling the case
Thanks

I had 8 months pay slip and 4 months consolidated Pay slips. They did not accept the consolidated pay slips. Even without considering it, my earnings in the 8 months would have got me 45 points. However since I am working on contract for the 4 months in contention, I could get only a consilidated one. So I have explained that. Lets see

Hi,
My application for review is on the "tray". Not yet assigned to a case worker. When I asked when it would be assigned, she said, it depends on the "workload"
Thanks

Hi,
I was given wrong info earlier by the customer care.
Yesterday they were telling me that the file is yet to be allocated for caseworker.
Will update you once any status is changed.

They are not confirming any thing about the timelines....Just saying it may take the time between 5 - 14 weeks....that alll.....
I am not sure how long it normally takes. Also there are no posts on this board about the timelines for review requests!!!

yeah. Maybe re-apply is a better solution. Do you know if it is possible to re-apply when the review is on...

out of curiosity, does it say on the rejection letter that you can still work if you are getting a review/appeal ...i.e. if your LTR has expired during the time it took them to make a decision?

Hi all,
I have few queries regarding the qualification points. My application has recently been refused since the equivalency certificate from a UK accounting body included scanned signatures. I have a UK accounting qualification as well as an overseas Accounting/Auditing qualification. I want to know if I need to send an equivalency certificate from the UK professional body as well to equate the UK professional qualification to academic level or it is not required since the professional qualification is awarded by a British Professional Accounting Body itself. Furthermore, my overseas professional qualification has been equated by the corresponding UK professional body as equivalent to a UK Post Graduate Diploma. Does Work Permit UK consider a qualification equivalent to a UK Post Graduate Diploma for the award of at least 30 points since a UK PGD is higher than a UK bachelor degree but lower than a UK masters degree? Please if any1 can advise on these issues?

Hi Deep
If your 8 months earnings was also enough, what reason did they give you for not giving points on earnings?
