Finally wait is over

Post by educators » Wed Dec 05, 2012 11:22 pm

By the grace of Allah, I have finally received my approval letter today. It was a long wait of approximately 5 months. I understand for other users that it is really frustrating to wait for that so long but finally it is over now. Details are given below:

1) Applied in July 2012 - PSW to Tier 1 Entrepreneur (Funds in UK)
2) Biometrics given in August 2012
3) Approval Letter and documents received on 5th December 2012

Best of luck to everyone !!!

If fee is not taken till now there could be a problem with your debit card details......check with your bank sometimes they put restriction on the debit card for payments over £1000, these are my assumptions for exact reason you should call ukba with your application reference number.

If you got acknowledgement letter then cheers mate. You will get your visa without fee if it is not deducted yet. Confirm with HO quoting your reference number. Did you check with your bank about any missed transaction? Is your BALANCE and AVAILABLE BALANCE are same? Normally any transactions requested from HO are never refused by any bank. I think acknowledgement is issued without fee deduction procedure mistakenly. Anything could happen in a busy official environment.

The bank or building society statement must have been issued by an authorised official of
that institution and produced within the three months immediately before the date of your
application.
quoted from Page 16 and point 100, the statement for 50k can be upto 3 months old.. as long you have proper bank statements (within 1 month) for the maintenance. You can reapply without any issue.

I can understand your frustration but have patience. Hopefully you will hear soon. In regards to your question Ukba normally sends the documents back with approval letter which says you will receive Brp within 7 working days. Maybe thats how pooh7 knows that his visa is approved. I got my documents passport and approval letter after approx 5 months of wait. Waiting for brp now. I pray that everyone waiting now will get their visas as soon as possible.

You can use your latest bank statement where balance was £50k and if you still maintaining personal bank statement for 90 days then there shouldnt be any problem. But dont forget to free your debit card from any limits this time or use cheque or postal order to pay your visa fee.

Hi,
You have got letter asking for additional document means your application is under process. They will re-start the process once they receive your new document. You will hear the soon after they receive it.

Good luck,

I think thats positive news for you. Once they recieve your additional statement, you should get your approval letter within 2 weeks.

That means, the rest of the documents were satisfactory. So just be happy and wait for your approval letter.

Good Luck.

All documents would remain same. Just arrange postal order for £1020 (little expensive) or bank draft (costs £10 in most banks).

And make sure, your last bank statement for maintenance is not more than 28 days old. Write a covering letter and explain. And finally post it in special delivery. So simple

interesting week before xmas & new year

Post by aziz1053 » Mon Dec 10, 2012 4:04 pm

Hi All,
I applied on 10 August Bio on 20 August its been 4 months no reply since I think this week & upcoming time before x mas would be interesting as we hope to hear from Ukba if not before then that I wonder how long would be the delay the applications reply would be go on to January or Feb 2013. As one of the gentleman struggling due to his amount was unable to process. I would recommend you just made Postal letter from Post Office and sent the same documents with a reasoning letter it won't be any issue & please apply some sense & don't delay. I hope you would be fine. Anyone who applied in August 2012 heard any reply details please.
Thanks

Hi Razi,

This happened to me last year when I provided my HSBC debit card details, they couldnt debit my account for security reasons and as the application was deemed invalid I was advised to fill a new application form along with latest documents such as maintenance shouldnt be more than 28 days old and as it is Entrepreneur application funds statement shouldnt be more than 30 days old as per my understanding, in short I made fresh application updating all documents along with postal order name and DOB written at the back, this is my personal advise wait for an expert advise too

Regards,

Solomon
