Unmarried partner visa and perm contract

Post by EEApartner » Sat Dec 22, 2012 12:11 am

Hello guys
I am wondering if you can kindly help with this.
I recently attended an interview and the employers seem to favour british citizen or perm resident as they have requested me to show the documentation stating I have no immigration restriction.
I was offered by perm contract before even on other visa (post study work, youth mobility scheme), so I am wondering if there is any legal terms saying that I cannot accept any perm visa while I am on unmarried partner visa? I am expecting to obtain ILR in 2 years' time.

Thanks so much for your help in advance.

Merry Xmas!

Best regards

Give them this linkThis form is for an employer to request a 'right to work' check on an employee's biometric residence permit and your employer can refer to SUMMARY GUIDE FOR EMPLOYERS ON PREVENTING ILLEGAL WORKING IN THE UK

The above links should do for you unless your employer is one of those who strictly believe in "British jobs for British".
