Son of a british citizen

Post by gaddiels » Wed Feb 21, 2007 9:34 pm

Hi.

I am 22 year old and applied for indefinite leave to remain in the uk 2 years ago as a dependent on my mum who has indefinite leave to remain but i was refused beause my father does not live in the uk, my mum and him split up, and they said that i could turn to my father for support.

I applied again and said that my father was not able to support me but they still refused. i had a valid uk student visa and could not apeal.

My borthers live in the uk and have residency cuz they entered the uk b4 they were 18.

Anyway, now my mum is getting citizenship soon and i wonder if that changes anything.

Will i be able to live with her when she gets citizenship? or i just dont qualify to live with my family in the uk?
