Banker's draft issue for tier 1 general extension

Post by tywang2006 » Sat Feb 23, 2013 10:17 am

I recently made a banker's draft from natwest for tier1 general extension - 1500 pound. The officer of the bank said it would charge me 12 pound. However, when it has been made to me and 1500 pound has been deducted from my acount, i didn't find any charge from my account. Did they forget to charge me or it might be charged when banker's draft has been cashed by payee. if they forget to charge me, is this banker's draft valid to make the payment? thank you very much

yes its a valid draft and can be used... just wait for couple of days and you will see the charge being deducted from your account. AFAIK banks dont wait for draft to be en-chased to charge you.
