Hi,

Once I get my PR, I am planning to apply for my child British citizenship.

Please note that my child is currently tier 1 dependant valid till march 2014.

I will be applying on May. After I get my PR, assuming i apply british citizenship for my kid, how much time does it take and is it ok for my kid to travel abroad while still being applied for citizenship.
