Hi,tuanvo1982 wrote:I don't know what is "contracted weekly hour" in this paragraph and don't know how to specify a new COS become a "contracted weekly hour". My salary was paid every month not every week. Could you give me an idea please?
"All of the rates quoted are based on a 39 hour working week unless otherwise specified. If the job has contracted weekly hours or is paid an hourly rate, the rates must be pro-rated accordingly, but otherwise they do not need to be pro-rated."
Thank you
Hi,tuanvo1982 wrote:I cannot find any paper about the new SOC2010. But about SOC 2010 has a post which a guy email to UKBA and they confirm that already that we can pro-rate down if you are working less than the hours in SOC said. I cannot find that post

Hi,tuanvo1982 wrote:I also got answer by email today
Dear Vo,
Thank you for your email.
If the 37.5 hours you refer to is in the contact then it falls into “the job has contracted weekly hours” and therefore the salary on the Code of Practice can be calculated pro rata. Please bear in mind that there remains a minimum salary requirement of £20,000pa which must always apply irrespective of the number of hours the person works.
Yours Sincerely,
And how can you email them? My HR is SHIT and it takes forever to ask them something to do : ( Can you please tell me a way of emailing UKBA? I know I can ring them but I would rather have it in writing thankstuanvo1982 wrote:I also got answer by email today
