Case Worker's calculations ?

Post by Musafir » Thu Mar 22, 2007 10:37 am

Hi All

I will be applying for HSMP by 30-03-2007. I have calculated my earnings from Dec 2005 to Feb 2005(I haven't included 3 months earnings in between) and my earnings are more than 17,500 pounds.

Q1. First of all should I take Dec 2005 earnings into account?

Q2. Can anybody apply with less than 12 months earnings even though they have worked more than 12 months in general.

Q3. If an applicant calculate points incorrectly, do case workers rectify the calculations and award points accordingly OR they just refuse/decline the application on the basis of inaccurate calculations.

Please advise. Thanks in advance

Starting current month take any 12 months from last 15 months whichever is favourable.

You have to show 12 months earnings, if you have worked less than 12 months but still you qualify, state clearly why you are not showing ? and it should be a genuine reason.

It is your responsibility to guide the caseworker. If you guide the wrong way he will go that way and vice versa. If you don't guide you put urself in risk. You have to advocate when you put your application and not the other way.
