ILR Success POE Croydon 18/04/13

Post by max_payne » Thu Apr 18, 2013 6:27 pm

My case was WP(2007 - 2009)>>Tier 1(G)>>Tier 1(G) EXT:

Leaves during the WP 4 days but no evidence letter (as they were not work related)
Leaves during the Tier 1 49days (not in employment) no evidence.
Leaves during the Tier 1 variable days (in employment) no evidence provided.

Documents Provided:
Form SET(O)
12 months Payslip
12 months Bank Statement
LITUK certificate
Passport
2 photos
Approval letters > 1) WP letter 2) Tier 1 approval 3) Tier 1 extension approval
Absence sheet mentioning the reasons of leaves(self signed)

Supporting Documents (but not provided):
4 P60's
employment letters (current and previous)
Paid leaves letter from current employer
council tax letters
driving licence
mortgage statements
Education documents
Previous documents submitted on earlier visa applications

ILR approved with no questions asked in 3hrs from start to finish.
I would suggest do not provide more documents then what is needed but if possible do carry as much as you can. But just provide the basic documents as more documents only causes more issues then solutions.

BEST OF LUCK!! and be confident and positive.

Congratulations. Agree with you totally , regarding providing more documents. Applicants tend to provide more than what is asked for, assuming that it will make their case stronger.

Which option did you click from below please for absence:

6.3 What evidence has been provided to support the reasons for all absences from the UK?
- Letter(s) from employer(s) detailing reasons for work-related absences including periods of paid annual leave from the UK?
- Letter from applicant detailing reasons for absence due to compelling or compassionate reasons
- Original official documents: (medical/birth/death certificate(s))
- Letter from travel companies to evidence disruption to travel
- Other

No evidence means no letter from employers but Do submit your own explanation letter stating the reasons of absences.

Nothing just left it as blank as those options doesn't apply for personal leaves. as long as its less then 90days in one go and less then 180 days in 12months, then they are not much fussed.

congratulations.....one doubt please... you said you submitted the self signed absence letter for personal leaves. Were these leaves paid annual leaves? Please advise me what I should do..I was away from the country for 45 days in past 5 years ....all those were family visits and I took annual leaves... I was paid by employer during those leaves but employer is not ready to give letter....should I submit self written letter or there is no need to submit any letter

Couldn't agree more.
I've always belived that more extra docs you put the more complex you make it for caseworker to deal with.

Goodluck.
