converting working holiday maker visa to normal work permit

Hi all,

This enquiry is for my friend who is a working holiday permit holder and working in the UK the past 12 months in a full time job. His visa is valid for 2 years. As per the recent government announcement that one is eligible to convert working holiday maker visa to normal work permit after 12 months of stay in the UK .

Could any one clarify how to convert to normal work permit and other related info. please.
