Hi,

My children were born in UK before I had the ILR. They had to fly backhome for an emergency and while they were there I got my ILR. In order to bring them back do I need to apply the normal way, i.e. VAF4 or is there a way I can apply for naturalisation overseas? Please advise.

You can apply for their registration from the UK. They don't need to be present in the UK. Once granted, they can apply for a UK passport from the country they are present.

Don't we need their passports to apply for their registration from UK? And also whats the process of registering? Is it the naturalisation form?
