Marriage Certificate for Family Visit visa???

Dear friends

I am planning to apply for my parents family visit visa.

My old Indian passport (I am British now) shows that they are my parents. My father passport has got spouse entry filled with my mother name and my mothers passport has got spouse entry filled with my father name.

Do I still need to provide their marriage certificate or an affidavit. The reason I am asking is, it is actually proved on the passport.

That is the problem, they haven't got one. I hope I don't even need to look for any alternatives either as both of them has got entries in passports as spouse. Please confirm
